Youth and student initiatives are crucial to spreading the word about Akshaya Patra's mission.

Youth have historically been at the forefront of innovative social movements that have changed the world. Akshaya Patra offers a solution to hunger and now is the time to catalyze a movement to end it.

You know the need for food and sustenance, you recognize the power of a strong education, you see the disastrous effects of malnutrition and poor access to education on the worlds future, you have the power to provide thought, leadership, and advocacy to raise awareness for the basic right of students around the world.

Taking on the cause of Akshaya Patra is an opportunity for you to change the lives of a generation of young people as well as a chance to build leadership skills, receive support and training, network with community and non-profit leaders and feel energized because of the impact you are having.

Mahatma Gandhi once said, "A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in thier mission can alter the course of history." Join a growing network of youth and students around the nation who are working to eradicate hunger and promote education for deserving children in India.
